Hollianne Hollingsworth

CYLP Administration Officer is responsible for providing administrative and operational support for the Cape York Leaders Program. The major accountabilities of the position to provide general administrative assistance, support student transition process, provide accounting support and act as the
main point of contact for CYLP.

Hollianne joined CYLP in April 2023, she enjoys working for CYLP as she gets to greet and chat with our Indigenous students at the airport. She have worked with kids before as a supervisor at Coles 2019-2021, which taught her to be patient and understanding with kids and young adults. She has enjoyed getting to know the CYLP students and families. Hollianne was previously employed at an Indigenous elder’s village where she completed her Cert lll Administration Traineeship. Here she spent time
engaging with the Indigenous Elders from the Cape and other parts of QLD in their daily life, and help assisting them with phones calls to loved ones.
Listening and helping our Indigenous Elders has shown Hollianne what great things she can learn and achieve.
